Foster Orientation
What does it mean to be a foster? Foster programs are lifeSAVING and life CHANGING for countless animals each and every year. Our homeless population of cats and dogs rely on these opportunities to aid in their mental, physical and emotional health which in turn opens up more adoption outlets for them.
- How are the pets selected?
- How long do I have to commit?
- What if I get attached?
- What if my personal pets have a negative reaction?
- What are the risks?
- What are the ways in which Acadiana Animal Aid will support me?
We want to walk you through it! Find out what works best for your lifestyle and learn a little bit more about animal sheltering, the challenges our pet populations are facing, and maybe discover ways to get involved that you didn’t know were possible.
Friday, June 12th, we are hosting a foster orientation and Q&A from 5:30 – 6:15pm. You are invited to come out, see our facility and learn about what we do. Spots are limited so grab your FREE tickets today!
