Raggedy Dan is one of the many success stories at Acadiana Animal Aid. He was found by a good Samaritan in a car bumper and brought to our shelter. Despite his numerous injuries, Dan was a playful and curious kitten who we could easily be adopted if he received care. Around that time, AAA was partnering with Wings of Rescue to fly nearly 100 cats to the Seattle area and Dan got to be one of the lucky passengers on the flight. After receiving medical attention from our staff veterinarian, Dan flew to Seattle and was adopted by a family within a couple of weeks of his arrival. Our community’s support made Dan’s care and adoption possible.
