When you make a donation to Acadiana Animal Aid’s Emergency Medical Fund you are helping AAA provide urgent medical care for cats and dogs at our shelter.

Many pets come to us needing more medical attention than many shelters can provide. These are cats and dogs who would make excellent pets, yet they suffer from common injuries such as a broken leg; an infected cut or bite wound; or treatable conditions like ringworm, mange, or heartworm disease — conditions many other shelters might not treat.

For a few hundred dollars of medical attention, we can rescue and treat these pets and make them available for adoption. Your kindness and support enable us to save these pets’ lives. Please consider donating to the Emergency Medical Fund.
